Overview
Not a Rad Rover — but a beauty nonetheless.
No, it’s not a Rad Rover. Out of my personal collection, I present to you this beauty — if this suits your fancy, let me know as well.
This 1955 Beck Porsche Spyder is powered by a 2400cc Clyde Burg VW race engine producing 155 horsepower in a car that weighs just 1,300 pounds. That power-to-weight ratio delivers a 0-60 time of 3.63 seconds — nearly as fast as a 2017 Ferrari California at 3.3 seconds.
All-wheel disc brakes bring it to a stop, and upgrades throughout were supplied by Fibersteel of California, including the pedal assembly, emergency brake, and all mechanical parts. Built in 2001.
